Accountant by degree. Storyteller by nature.
I studied accounting and finance, then spent the next decade proving that numbers and narrative belong in the same room.

A blog called The Chameleon Blogger.
In July 2012, while I was studying at the University of Kent, I started sharing my personal style online. I called it The Chameleon Blogger because I never wanted to be one thing.
Along the way I took fashion courses at Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design, Central Saint Martins and London College of Fashion, and earned a Vogue Fashion Certificate. Back home, I headed design operations for a Nigerian womenswear brand and learned what it takes to make clothes, not just write about them.
I wanted to build a new-school style guide for the continent, one that honours where we come from and shapes where we are going. On launching the BellaNaija Style website
Founding editor, BellaNaija Style website.
In 2017 I became the Founding Editor of the BellaNaija Style website and wrote the editor's note that introduced the site. The goal was to celebrate African style for the social media era and give readers an insider's view of fashion on the continent.
That work earned me Fashion Writer of the Year at the Abryanz Style & Fashion Awards in 2018. I've since served as Contributing Editor and on the advisory board of Today's Woman Magazine, and I now write a lifestyle column as Lifestyle Editor at Large for THEWILL DOWNTOWN.

KISARA and FashionVerse Africa.
KISARA is my accessories brand: bold, handmade bags that draw on African craft and culture, made for people who carry themselves with confidence. It debuted at Lagos Fashion Week in 2018, and our Shakara Republic line was made in collaboration with Orange Culture.
In May 2023 I launched FashionVerse Africa to give African creatives in fashion and entertainment the spotlight their work deserves.

Leading brand and communications.
Since 2024 I've been Group Executive Director of Branding and Corporate Communications at Nosak Group, where I oversee brand strategy, internal and external communications, and the consistency of the Group's identity across every platform.
It's the same craft I've practised in fashion, at a different scale: knowing your audience, saying something true, and saying it beautifully.
